Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division club Cambridge City have secured the services of Jordan Patrick.

The 21-year-old midfielder joins the Lilywhites after impressing in the opening pre-season matches, and played against Cambridge United on Saturday - the club that released him at the end of last season.

Last term he made twenty appearances in the Blue Square Bet Premier and FA Cup, scoring twice.

Patrick, who chose City ahead of interest from new league rivals Kettering Town and Conference North side Boston United, said: "I'm delighted to be signing for Cambridge City. I hope that the club can have a good season and really push for promotion from the Southern League."
