Jarvis has been a regular for the U's this season, starting thirty-nine games despite originally only joining the club on a one-month contract back in July
Manager Jez George was pleased to retain a player who proved to be a valuable addition to the squad, but says there is more to come from the ex-Barnet man: "Rossi played a major part in our season; he's a good character to have around, and an intelligent player.
"We signed him very late last year due to various circumstances, so he didn't have the benefit of a proper pre-season. We believe he can get fitter, and because the way we want to play it is important that we have energy in midfield.
"Rossi gives the team an element of composure, and we're really pleased he's committed for another twelve months.
