Manager Kevin Grainger was clearly delighted with his first signing has had this to say of the former Littleport Town man: "We are delighted to welcome Luke to the club and feel he will make a huge impact next season.

“Luke had a host of clubs from higher leagues interested in him, but he made the decision to play for myself and Karl Johnson here at Newmarket."
