.....player signed a one-year contract with the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central club.

Bevan kept nine clean sheets in just seventeen appearances for Valley last season

The 22-year-old former Aston Villa trainee has penned a contract until the summer of 2013.

Bevan signed for Rugby in January 2012 from Hinckley United and featured in seventeen games and was a calming influence between the sticks which included nine clean sheets.

The former Walsall, Daventry Town and Bedworth United keeper has become Stringer's first signing of the summer and the manager is confident of retaining the vast majority of last season's squad.
