Ashley Baverstock scored a first half brace for Bay and club captain Luke Harvey added the third in the second half.
Erith & Belvedere hang on to second spot on goal difference, despite losing 4-1 at close neighbours Erith Town.
The Dockers went in front through a Liam Burgess goal before Tyrus Gordon doubled their lead. Marvin Farrell pulled a goal back for Deres to make it 2-1 at half-time.
A second half goal from Nick Davis and second from Burgess put the finishing touches and gave the Dockers all three points.
VCD Athletic won 4-0 at home to Sevenoaks Town. Michael McKenna opened the scoring from the penalty spot on 18 minutes and Billy Shinners added a second before half-time.
Second half goals from James Duckworth and Jake Burman rounded off an impressive victory.
Beckenham Town and Woodstock Sports are sixth and seventh respectively in the league after they shared a pulsating 3-3 draw.
Nick Curren put Becks in front but 5 minutes later Ricky Freeman equalised and the half finished 1-1.
Danny McKone restored Becks lead 3 minutes into the second half before Jon Neal again pulled the sides level 4 minutes later.
James McDonald gave Woodstock the lead for the first time but saw the game finish all-square after Elstrom Die scored for Becks in the 74th minute.
Deal Town won this bottom-of-the-table clash 2-0 at home to Greenwich Borough.
Both Deal goals came in the first half - the first from the spot by Aaron Robinson and the second from Jack Collins.
Cray Valley PM, freshly re-instated into the Umbro Kent Senior Trophy semi-final, went Hollands & Blair where they re-exited after losing 2-0.
A Stuart West first half goal and a Stephen Hafner second half effort were the undoing of Cray and it is Hollands & Blair, who now go through to meet Sevenoaks Town in the final on Sunday, 15th April at Welling United.
