Gary Miller after 4 m inutes, Liam Quinn on 12, Jack Collins on 14 and Scott Punton with two on 59, 67 minutes were the Deal scorers while Rob Taylor pulled one back at 4-1 for Holmesdale.
VCD Athletic also won 5-1 at home to Beckenham Town. Steve McNamara scored the first goal in the Kent League, netting after just 2 minutes, but that was the end of their productivity.
Aiden Pursglove equalised from the spot 5 minutes later and the first half finished 1-1.
The second half was all VCD - Pursglove doubled his tally on 54 minutes then Uche Ibermere got in on the act on 71 minutes. Karl Dent made it 4-1 and Billy Shinners finished off on the stroke of full-time.
Erith & Belvedere gained away 3-0 victory over newly-promoted Rochester United.
Jamie Wood got the show on the road after 24 minutes with a penalty conversion. Richard Davis doubled with 6 minutes left to play and Richmond Kissi rounded things off in the final minute.
Erith Town won 3-0 at home to Sevenoaks Town. Tristan Gorden opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark and Ray Powell doubled right on the half-time whistle. Powell netted again with 5 minutes left to play.
Cray Valley squeezed past Greenwich Borough by winning 3-2 at Oakley Road.
Boro went ahead after 34 minutes through Dan Hilliard to give a 1-0 half-time scoreline. An own goal brought Cary into the game and Chris McGinty netted a brace to give Cray a 3-1 cushion with 9 minutes left on the clock. On the stroke of full time Hilliard scored his, and Greenwich's second.
Lordswood opened their season with a 2-1 victory at Corinthian and so go into 6th place. After a goal-less first half Joe Kane put Lordswood in front on 58 minutes. Charlie Burgess equalised 18 minutes later but Mark Murison made sure all three points went to Martyn Grove with a strike in the 84th minute.
Whyteleafe opened their Kent League account with a home 2-2 draw with Canterbury City.
Leafe's Jay Garrick was first off the blocks with a strike on 14 minutes. Alex Waugh equalised 15 minutes later and the first half ended 1-1.
Alim Sesay restored the `Leafe advantage on 72 minutes after City had a goal disallowed for offside. Richard Atkins grabbed a share of the points for City with his 75 minute equaliser.
Tunbridge Wells and Fisher FC shared a 1-1 draw at the Culverden Stadium.
Perry Spackman hit the net on 20 minutes and Richie Monan made it 1-1 2 minutes into the second half.
