The embargo was put in place due to a failure to pay their football creditors during a doomed campaign in the Blue Square Bet Premier, which eventually ended in financial disarray and relegation.
However, the Poppies have since entered a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) to clear their debts of £1.2m and will start next season two divisions lower.
A short statement released by the club said: “The club can confirm that both the FA and Southern League have informed us that we are no longer operating under a transfer embargo.”
