Marc Leach

.....Lawrie Stewart and Marc Leach as manager Carl Williams continues to shape his squad for next season.

Stewart had an outstanding season in 2011/12 after joining Hitchin from Harlow Town a year ago.

"We are delighted that Lawrie will be with us again in 2012/13. He was our player of the year last season and he is key to our plans," said Williams.

Leach has also signed on and Williams expects the tall defender will have a better campaign. "Last season we didn't see the best of Marc because he was being played out of position a lot of the time.

“With Kyle Lincoln joining us, the left-back position has been covered and Marc will be able to play in his ideal position."
