Key Duo Re-Sign for City
Zac Barrett

....members of his first-team squad with Craig Hammond and Zac Barrett both agreeing new contracts.

Hammond struck twenty-six times in all competitions for the Lilywhites last season and will be looking to equal that during the forthcoming campaign and go close to reclaiming the `golden boot` accolade for the league top scorer – an award he won at the end of the 2010/11 season.

Hammond commented: “I am very happy to have signed for another year at City. Hopefully this will be our season to gain automatic promotion.”

That comment was endorsed by Zac Barrett, who said: “I am looking forward to another successful season and hopefully we can go one step further this time, and avoid the lottery of the play-offs.”

The City goalkeeper has been an ever-present member of the squad since joining the Lilywhites almost four years ago.

He joins Hammond on agreeing a contract for the next twelve months.

Whilst Roberts continues his search to strengthen his squad, he was delighted that two of his key personnel have agreed new deals. He said: “I am very pleased to have signed up two of the best players in Southern League, and this will help us in our goal of achieving promotion in the coming season.”
