Kidlington Make Triple Signing
Thomas Boxer

Striker Sean McKeon and central defender Thomas Boxer have agreed to join the Yarnton Road team.

McKeon is well known in local football circles having previously played Hellenic League football for Witney Town, Wantage Town and Highworth Town.

He was playing his football at Division One side Clanfield this season, but was persuaded to come back into the Premier Division by Kidlington manager Gordon Geary.

Boxer is an experienced central defender who joins from Molten Spartan South Midlands League side Cockfosters.

Geary said: “I am extremely pleased to have signed another central defender especially as skipper Danny Mason has been carrying an injury of late, and Tom fits the bill perfectly.”

Geary acted quickly so these lads, along with Tom Austin who signed earlier in the week, can be added to the squad for the visit of Oxford City Nomads to Yarnton Road this Saturday.

Austin has previously played for Abingdon United, Wantage and Witney and signed from Clanfield.
