Both midfielder John Bradley and full-back Scott Pethers have agreed to move to Spa Road from Ryman League Division One North side Great Wakering Rovers.

With proven goalscorer Rob Whitnell having already returned one of Kimble’s main priorities is finding a first-team goalkeeper.

“We’ll have several triallist, including three goalkeepers, on show when we start pre-season on June 28th,” he said.

“All of last season’s squad I ended up with have said they are staying which is good and will give us some continuity.”

Kimble, the former Burnham Ramblers manager, aims to have a twenty-strong adding: “Many players won’t commit themselves at this stage but I’m still working away at strengthening the squad and all will sorted out through the pre-season friendly matches.

“I’m ambitious and I know the club is and getting back to the Ryman League is the priority,” Kimble explained.

“I know the league well so I know what to expect and need to be successful and that means all the players having the right attitude and commitment to want to do well.”
