The Birkenhead neighbours met in the Liverpool Senior Cup in midweek, and have decided to forge further ties for the benefit of the footballing community in the area.
The arrangement is likely to see a number of players join Lairds on loan and `work experience` terms, the first of which being Will Vaulks.
The youngster made an impressive performance against Lairds in midweek, and will make his debut at Kirklands in the home game against Durham City this Saturday.
