Lanns Hoping to Have Squad In Place Soon
Jason Lanns

...end of this week as they prepare for the start of the new season.

The Colemen have a raft of friendlies – weather permitting - and Lanns is hopeful he will have most, if not all, of his personnel signed up.

Lanns has already signed up Jason Ramsay, Liam Mansell, Richard Gregory, Danny Carter and Chris Lloyd from last season's squad.

And he has also brought four as yet unnamed players in from elsewhere, with an eye on adding nine or ten more in the next couple of days.

Lanns said: "We started off training with thirty players, then it went down to twenty-two, then up to thirty-five and up again to forty-six!

"We'll whittle it down but it's all part and parcel – I'm looking to build a good, small, strong squad of about twenty, and everyone is as keen as mustard to start.

"I want to get the squad sorted before the friendlies really because the season is only around the corner."
