Ledgister Loaned to Beavers
Joel Ledgister

....striker Joel Ledgister on loan until the end of January.

The skillful 24-year-old, who has previously played for Oxford United, Woking, Ebbsfleet United and Carshalton Athletic before switching to the U’s in September, will be eligible for all games apart from when the Beavers take on his parent club in the league in December.

Speaking about the new arrival Harper said: “He is a very skillful player who can open up defences and create opportunities from nothing. He was leading scorer at Carshalton Athletic last year and he knows what is required to score goals at this level.”

Meanwhile, Patrick Drmola, who was stretchered off on Saturday, has returned to Norwich City and will be out of action for six-eight weeks due to the injury suffered at Welling United.
