Pitchero Non League

Light joins United with a wealth of experience, having previously been manager of Division One side Rye United where he guided them to John O'Hara Cup success as well as runners-up spot in the league before moving on to Ryman League Premier Division outfit Hastings United as assistant-manager.

Light also has experience as academy scout of Premier League side and current European champions Chelsea and Championship side Crystal Palace.

Eastbourne United manager Paul Daubeney said: "We are delighted Ryan will be with us this season. With his knowledge of the game it will invaluable to help us towards our targets this season."
