Lions Make Another New Signing

Blue Square Bet North club Guiseley have announced the arrival of Chris Mason to Nethermoor, subject to international clearance.

Lions Make Another New Signing

Chris Mason

The 20-year-old Blackburn-based striker was a regular in the Welsh Premier last season with a successful Bala Town side.

He joined Bala in July 2010 after starting his career with League Two outfit Bury, where he played in the reserves, before joining Chorley.

He has also played professionally in Sweden and moved to Floriana in Malta in the summer of 2009.

Guiseley officials watched Mason play several times at the end of last season and believe he will add quality and depth to the squad.

Mason becomes the Lions` second signing of the day after announcing the arrival of Nicky Boshell (see separate news item).
