.....`double` as they retained the Devon Premier Cup with a thrilling 3-2 win over Stoke Gabriel.
On a heavy but well prepared pitch at Devon FA it was the visitors who drew first blood when former Liverton player Danny Broadway punished a keeping error to give Stoke a 7th minute lead.
Liverton soon responded and drew level after just 18 minutes with Simon Laughton shooting through a crowded box to score.
Stoke Gabriel then restored the lead on the half-hour when Broadway was again on target which meant Stoke held a slender advantage at the break.
The second half saw two goals in 4 minutes around the hour-mark which turned the tie in Liverton`s favour with first Tom Sercombe heading the sides level from a corner kick and then Robbie Bowker scoring from the penalty spot to give Liverton the lead for the first time.
As time wore on both sides had half chances but no further goals came along and it was left to Liverton to receive the Cup at the final whistle.
Meanwhile, in the Premier Division on Thursday night, Bodmin Town brought down the curtian on their magnificent season with a 3-0 win over Plymouth Parkway.
The `treble-winning` Bodmin side ensured a 100% home league record with the victory and the season also saw them set records for most wins, most wins on the trot, most goals and most points.
Chris Luxton gave them a first minute lead from Lewis Reed's defence-splitting pass but it took until 7 minutes from time for Shane Krac to make sure of the points with a goal against his former club.
And with the last action of the match, and their season, Bodmin made it 3-0 as substitute Adam Carter stooped to head in his forty-third league goal of the season and his fifty-fourth in all competitions.
