Local Sponsorship Boost for Albion

....sponsorship deal with Ossett Brewing Company.

The deal will see the Ossett Brewery logo being worn on first-team shirts throughout the current season.

The brewery owns several pubs in the West Yorkshire area, two of which are in Ossett. Many home and travelling supporters call in at The Tap on the Green before and after Albion matches, and the pub is well known on the non-League football forums.

Brewery spokesman Mike Inman said: “We are a local company who are active in the local community. We are proud to support Ossett Albion and hope our relationship can develop over the coming years.”

The Tap will become the official supporters pub of Ossett Albion and a warm welcome will be given to home and travelling supporters by pub landlady Alison Dean.

Albion chairman Stephen Hanks said: “In these difficult financial times sponsorship has become all the more important to local sporting organizations and we at Ossett Albion are no different.

“Our new partnership with Ossett Brewery is extremely welcome and very much appreciated. Additionally we are all the more pleased that the sponsorship deal is with a local company as we look to develop our own community links. Hopefully the association will prove beneficial to both parties and we, for our part, will be striving hard to fulfill our obligations with our new partners.”
