....after beating Cogenhoe United 2-0 in their penultimate match on Tuesday night.
With a two-point lead and a goal difference advantage of fifteen over King`s Lynn Town, a draw from their final match at home to Blackstones would be enough.
Cogenhoe put up stern resistance at Fernie Fields and Bucks skipper Richard Bunting struck the crossbar with a first half penalty.
The nerves were settled by a 48th minute Josh Davis opener with Russ Dunkley sealing the win 3 minutes later.
Elsewhere, third-placed St Ives Town won 2-0 at Northampton Spencer with second half goals from Aaron Last and Conor Washington, while Newport Pagnell Town made it ten games unbeaten with a 3-1 success at Stewarts & Lloyds.
An early Keith Williams own goal gave S&L the lead but Matt Broomes, Dom Lawless and Williams won the contest for Newport.
Peterborough Northern Star collected a first win in eight games as late goals from Avelino Vieira and Ali Nyang saw them to a 2-1 victory at Boston Town, who went ahead through Lori Borbely.
In Division One, basement boys Rothwell Town crashed 7-1 to Eynesbury Rovers.
Lee Bassett's Rovers opener was cancelled out by a Garry Chambers reply for the Bones, but Eynesbury ran in six second half goals through hat-trick man Ben Cole, Tom Coles, Gavin Batt and Jez McMurrough.
Holbeach United became the league's fourth winners of the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy in five years beating Baris Northern Counties East League side Barton Town Old Boys 2-0 at Lincoln City`s Sincil Bank.
On target for the Tigers were Luke Kennedy after 20 minutes and Dave Wilson 2 minutes into added time.
