Phil Granville

....One Central club and take the reins at Molten Spartan South Midlands League neighbours Harefield United.

`Granners` has been at Uxbridge as a player and manager for twenty-four years and will be greatly missed by everyone.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his time, effort and commitment he has put in during his years at the football club, especially over the last ten years in managing the reserve team.

A spokesman for the club told Pitchero: “We appreciate and fully understand that Phil is ambitious, and that he would like to progress in football management. We wish him every success in his new role as first-team manager at Harefield United.

“With the success that Phil has achieved as reserve team manager at Uxbridge FC it is understandable that this would attract attention from other clubs seeking his services.

“Last season the reserves won the Suburban League Premier B Division, losing just two games in the process!”
