....style by roaring to victory over visiting Boston United on Saturday.
Lowe’s near season-long leaders sealed the championship and automatic promotion to non-League’s top-flight on a day of high emotion at Ewen Fields.
Hyde romped over the finishing line with an emphatic 4-1 win seeing them crowned champions with a game to spare in front of more than a thousand ecstatic home supporters after second-placed Guiseley lost 1-0 to Bishop’s Stortford.
The Tigers’ success was greeted by scenes of jubilation at the final whistle as fans joined players in celebrating Hyde reaching the Conference Premier for the first time in their history.
And modest Lowe, whose side were 50/1 outsiders for the title at the start of the season, spoke of his pride – and surprise – at having seen the team he built from scratch following his arrival from Curzon Ashton last summer earn a place at non-League football’s top-table.
“This is the first time this club has reached the pinnacle of non-League and I couldn’t be prouder,” he said.
“And for us to clinch the title in front of our own supporters has made it even more special.”
