"Ows as he had been affectionately known by all supporters at the club has decided that he can no longer commit to play for Bala Town owing to family work commitments and has decided instead to play this season for a club nearer to his home, Denbigh Town," said a club statement.
"Everyone at Bala Town would like to thank Ows for all his hard work and total dedication over the last seven seasons with the club."
Manager Colin Caton added: "Ows is one of those players who had a fantastic attitude and was a very committed lad. He was a pleasure to manage and I would like to wish him all the best for the future.
"I am very sorry to see him leave but totally understand that the family business takes priority over football and I want to thank him for the loyalty he has shown me, both at Bala and Colwyn Bay."
