Luchford Delight at Beecroft Re-Signing
Jake Beecroft

....Beecroft re-signing for the season 2012/13.

Luchford said: “This is a massive step forward for the club as Jake can see we are moving forward as a club and his signing will lead the way to show that we really mean to progress from last season. Anyone who has witnessed Jake play since joining us with less than half the season remaining will understand how delighted I am Jake is with us next season.”

Luchford signed Beecroft in March this year with just a couple of months till the end of the season.

He arrived with a decent CV, having started his career coming through the ranks of Rushden & Diamonds from youth to the first-team.

Following a couple of loans, he left Nene Park and joined Tonbridge Angels at the beginning of the 2011/12 season. He has scored two goals and has played twenty times for the Conference South club.”

Since Beecroft joined in March the side looked stronger and more organised, and he made an immediate impact both on and off the pitch.
