....Premier Division club for the 2012/13 season.
The striker played a key role in the club’s championship-winning campaign in the Southern Division One Central and boss Dennis Greene is delighted he will stay at the club.
Greene expects most of last season’s squad to report for pre-season training but there have been some departures, notably Junior Konadu, as well as Lewis Webb and Jordan Gent.
The trio follow Shane Tolley on to new pastures.
"It’s great that Ben will be back," said Greene. "We want to make new signings but the priority is to make sure we keep the players from last season that we wanted back and it looks like we’ll be able to do that.
"We’ve lost two or three players but they were not playing regularly so much last year and would probably not have played much next season.
"Jordan was in and out of the side last season and Webb didn’t play a lot of the games so it would have been hard for them to get into the team anyway."
Konadu has left to pursue his dream of a move to a professional club and while Greene believes the team will miss his skill on the ball, the team may be more resilient off it.
"It’s going to affect us on the ball and perhaps the way we play. But we’ll be stronger off the ball."
Greene expects the likes of Stefan Moore, Dan Jacob, Rene Steer, Adrian Sear, Chris Hope and Lewis Hilliard to report back for training and provide the basis of the squad for the forthcoming campaign.
It has also been revealed that St Neots are looking for planning permission to build a new 300-seat stand to bring their ground up to Conference standard.
