....League One AFC Bournemouth after impressing during his short stay at Cuthbury.
Bournemouth-born Jamal Bajandouh – more popularly known as Jamal - made his debut for Wimborne in February following a spell playing in Saudi Arabia.
The 19-year-old impressed and even left his sickbed for a starring role in Wimborne’s Dorset Senior Cup Final clash against Dorchester Town last month.
Jamal’s departure highlights Wimborne’s strong relationship with AFC Bournemouth. Three young Cherries players arrived for loan spells at Cuthbury last term which proved to be beneficial for both clubs.
Wimborne boss Steve Cuss, who is also head of the Cherries Community Sports Trust, said: “Jamal has signed for AFC Bournemouth’s new development squad.
“Last season we had three Cherries players – Dan Strugnell, Alex Parsons and Josh Wakefield - here on loan. And they all went on to make their first team debuts at AFC Bournemouth following their spells with Wimborne.
“We hope that trend will continue.”
