Last season's NPL Premier Division player of the season was told by the Magpies that they were making him available for a move after last Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup First Qualifying Round victory over Nantwich Town at Victory Park.

Manager Garry Flitcroft said: "I spoke to Fozzie after last Saturday's game and told him I was making him available for transfer. I've got a tremendous amount of respect for Fozzie and everything he's done for the club.

"He's always given me everything whenever he's pulled on a Chorley shirt and his goals have been instrumental in our success over the last eighteen months. I just feel it's time to freshen things up, which is why I've decided to make him available."

Since joining the Magpies from Salford City in February 2011, Foster has scored thirty-two goals in sixty-five appearances and in April was voted the NPL's Premier Division player of the year.
