Manager Quits AFC Hayes
Danny Vincent

.....Division One Central club AFC Hayes.

Vincent has been associated with AFC Hayes for several seasons and and was assistant-manager to Joe Mitchell when the club won the Middlesex Senior Cup and finished in ninth position in the Southern Division One South & West in season 2008/09.

He left the club at the end of the season to join Mitchell at Beaconsfield SYCOB before rejoining AFC Hayes at the beginning of season 2010/11 as assistant to Dale Welch.

On Welch`s resignation at Christmas 2010, Vincent took over as first-team manager and helped guide the side to safety.

In 2011/12 Vincent, with the help of coach Colin Murphy, set about assembling a side that for much of the season were challenging for a play-off position.

A dip in form after Christmas saw AFC Hayes finally finish in a very creditable tenth place.

Vincent believed in playing football on the ground and eschewed the long ball option and his team certainly played to this philosophy.
