....Town after almost three years in charge.
The team is currently languishing in the relegation places, despite playing some of the best football seen at Southfield for a while.
Moore has told the club and players that he is desperately disappointed with a return of only four league wins this season and feels that a change of manager and tactical emphasis could be the catalyst that see’s the team achieve the results that their quality of football deserves.
The club would like to place on record their appreciation for all Moore’s hard work without which, the club could well have been playing their football at county level now.
Acting chairman Simon Wilkinson told Pitchero: “The club is reluctant to lose Terry but fully understand his reasons for resigning and appreciate his honesty. He has done nothing but good for this club and without his tireless efforts it is hard to imagine that we would be moving forward in the way we are today.
“We are losing not only a manager but a friend and a committed club man, which makes it a sad day for the club but we will keep striving to move forward and to retain our Premier status.
“Terry will always be welcome at the club and he leaves with our sincere thanks and very best wishes for his future endeavours.”
The club have said that they will not be rushed into a panic replacement and will consider all the options before deciding on a successor for Moore.
Current assistant-manager Jason Holt will take charge of the team for the present time and following that the club will make a further announcement regarding the manager’s position.
