Two more players have signed up at Penydarren Park ready for Merthyr Town's first season back in the Evo-Stik League....

Martyrs Snap Up Two More

....Southern Division One South & West.

Luke Jones, 18, is Merthyr-born and is a product of Cardiff City Academy before being released.

He had a trial with Blue Square Bet Premier side Tamworth last season, before joining Merthyr.

Jones is an attacking midfielder and he scored whilst on trial in his first two friendlies. Jayme Wearn, 23, is also Merthyr born and has played local league football, most recently for Trelewis Welfare last season where he scored sixty-six goals, including eleven hat-tricks.

Wearne impressed in pre-season, scoring against Aberdare Town.
