....League (Wessex) Premier Division table following their 3-3 draw on Saturday.
Brading are still to play their final home game of the season, which will be against Hamworthy United during the midweek.
It appeared to be all one-way traffic as the Humbugs raced into a 3-0 lead at half-time. Alex Easton scored a brace for the home side and Steve Black scored a free-kick. However, Glenn Burnett's New Milton side produced a rousing second half come back and goals from Alex Baldacchino, Rob Lofters De-Sport and Ryan Case earned the Linnets a vital point which has temporarily earned them a reprieve from the bottom two.
Already-relegated Laverstock & Ford were also in battling form as they twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at home to Bournemouth Poppies.
Luke Ingram had put Poppies ahead only for their former front-man, Martin Warren, to equalise for the hosts. Back came Poppies though and Fawzi Saadi restored their lead shortly after half-time.
It was the hosts who had the final say though as they equalised from the penalty spot to earn a point.
Kevin Smith's final game at the helm of Alton Town ended in a 2-1 home reverse against Romsey Town.
Smith took over as manager at the turn of 2012 but has opted to leave his post now that the season has ended and it was also, coincidentally, Wayne Mew's final game in charge of Romsey.
The visitors took the lead midway through the first half and they doubled their advantage early in the second half. Although Ryan Ayling pulled a goal back for the Brewers, it wasn't enough and Romsey won the game.
Blackfield & Langley won their penultimate game of the season 2-1 against second place finishers, Bemerton Heath Harlequins.
The Watersiders have one game still to play following the abandonment of their game with Fawley AFC.
Jeff Softley's Downton finished their season back in the top flight with a 3-1 home win against Lymington Town.
Nic Turpin, Jamie Waters and a penalty from Vince Rusher gave the home side a fourth victory in as many matches to round-up an impressive season for them.
A goal apiece from both Ashley Jarvis and Jamie Musselwhite gave GE Hamble a 2-1 home win over Totton & Eling, while Moneyfields rounded up their season with an impressive 5-2 home win against Fawley AFC.
