....Bemerton Heath Harlequins in cup action, and won 5-2 at home to Moneyfields to go three points clear at the top of the table.

Graham Lindsey put the hosts ahead from eight yards following a Chris Mason assist. City's lead was doubled via an own goal.

Moneyfields reduced the arrears on 21 minutes through David Gauntlett and then shortly after half-time Steve Hutchings made it 2-2 from the penalty spot.

Leigh Mills restored the hosts' advantage from a volley and then a Chris Mason free-kick made it 4-2.

Mason was fouled afterwards and Alex Easton converted the penalty to make the final score 5-2 to the hosts.

Alresford Town's home encounter with Romsey Town was postponed at lunchtime due to a waterlogged pitch, but Blackfield & Langley edged out Brading Town, 1-0 at the Gang Warily when Emmanuel Soetan scored a curling 18-yard effort under pressure with 13 minutes remaining.

Downton won 2-1 away at Fareham Town. Declan McGregor headed the Robins ahead early on and although Lewis Dark did level in the first half, Ben Smith netted a stoppage time winner for the visitors.

Horndean drew 2-2 at home with Totton & Eling with Alex Milroy and Louis Bell on target for the hosts.

Alton Town ran out 3-2 winners away at Laverstock & Ford, while Alex Baldacchino scored four times and Harrison Gilkes, on dual registration from AFC Bournemouth, once as New Milton Town impressively won 5-1 away at Lymington Town.

A Tom McInnes goal was enough to give Newport IoW a 1-0 home victory against Hamworthy United.
