....resignation of manager Paul McNally.
In tendering his resignation, McNally said: "Due to numerous issues outside of football I cannot commit to the necessary time required to maintain the development of the team, and push the club further forward and up the non-League ladder. As a result I do not feel that either party are progressing and maybe a fresh approach is needed to reignite the team and results.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank all people at the club for their tremendous support and enthusiasm received over the past two years. Too many people to thank by name but I am sure they all know to whom I refer.
"It has been a honour to have been involved at Runcorn and a privilege to serve the club as player, captain and manager and I will always support the club in the future."
Linnets chairman Derek Greenwood said: "On behalf of the club, I would like to thank Paul for the effort and professionalism that he has maintained throughout his tenure at the Millbank Linnets Stadium.
"Everyone involved at the club has been impressed with Paul's integrity and dedication, and we would all like to wish him and his family the very best for the future. They are always very welcome at the club."
