Another Non-League club have confirmed they are to convert for a 3G pitch.
Lichfield City have received planning permission to instal plastic at their McDonalds Community Stadium.
The Midland League club say it will benefit them and the whole area and were thrilled to be given the green light.
Other Non-League clubs to confirm they are taking up their grass this summer are National League Bromley, Bostik newcomers Margate and Southern League Cirencester.
Linchfield said in a statement: “We have today received the news that we have been waiting for. Planning permission has been granted for our 3G pitch conversion at the McDonalds Community Stadium.
“This is a major achievement for the club and it will allow us to host all of our junior and senior teams in one location.
“The work starts in the next couple of weeks and will take approximately ten weeks to complete.”
