Midland League Division One club Heather St John`s have announced that Stephen Rigby has resigned as first-team manager.

The Saints have thanked him for his hard work over his two-year reign at the club, especially having helped the Saints avoid relegation in 2016, moving on to achieve an impressive eighth-place finish last season.

Rigby said: “I would like to place on record it’s been a great honour and privilege to manage and work with Heather. I really appreciate everyone’s efforts for me and the club while under my reign. I wish everyone all the very best with their future endeavours, I hope we can work together in the future”.
