Dave Gilroy, Kye Holly, Jack Pitcher, Ross Stearn and Dan King have all linked up with the Bluebirds for the new season but Mings insists that his new players will have to prove their worth.

“I’m over the moon with the calibre of player I’ve been able to bring in and they've all settled in well in training so far,” said the Bluebirds chief.

“They know what I expect and demand of my squad and they know they won’t get into the team on reputations.”

Mings hopes to hold onto striker Toby Osman, despite interest from Blue Square Bet South outfit Bromley.
