....against Premier Division rivals and title-chasers Shortwood United.
The trophy is the highest honour in the Moles` 120-year history.
Top scorer Davies, who has a phenomenal goals-per-game ratio since joining the club, gave Binfield the lead slightly against the run of play after 22 minutes, getting on the end of a Carl Davies` header to run on to beat Martyn Pearce in the Shortwood goal.
And just before the hour-mark the Moles grabbed a vital second goal, catching United on the break when Stuart Tanfield cleared from the penalty area for Josh Millar to play Davies through to lob the on rushing Pearce, who parried the initial effort, only for Davies to beat him to the rebound and poke into an empty net.
And the season could get even better for Binfield as they have a Berks & Bucks FA Senior Trophy Final against Abingdon Town at Beaconsfield SYCOB to look forward to next Tuesday.
