The 19-year-old is a big unit, standing at 6`2” but is very mobile and impressive and comes highly recommended.
In his short career to date has had spells at Notts County and last season at Blue Square Bet Premier outfit Mansfield Town, and is a product of the successful South Notts Sports College.
Bisungu follows the signing of Fabian Smith from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division neighbours Eastwood Town.
Smith, 27, is a midfielder previously with Scunthorpe United, Ilkeston Town and Quorn.
He joined Eastwood in the summer, having missed most of last season with an injury but is now fully fit.
Basford also have former Nottingham Forest favourite Eugene Bopp training with them and he too looks in great condition.
Currently without a club, last season Bopp, who made seventy-seven appearances for Forest before having spells with Rotherham, Crewe and Swiss side Carl Zeiss Jena, was at York City until breaking a collar bone last April.
Basford already include the likes of much-travelled former Aston Villa, Stoke, Peterborough, Southend and Scunthorpe forward Martin Carruthers and Carl and Jarrod Westcarr, whose other brother Craig currently plays for Chesterfield, in their powerful-looking squad.
