....Burns from league rivals Guiseley. Burns is a former Liverpool player. He was a member of their 2006 FA Youth Cup-winning squad and has also represented England under-16s three times. Since then he has played for Bolton Wanderers and Carlisle United before being loaned to Conference Premier side Newport County during 2011.

He joined Guiseley in June 2011.
