In a long and illustrious career, Murray made 354 appearances and scored seventy-four goals for City in two spells between 1997 and 2009.
He also represented Fraserburgh, Aston Villa, Reading, Cheltenham Town, Yeovil Town and Bath City.
Manager Micky Bell – a former City team-mate - is delighted that Murray has brought his vast experience of the game to The Hand Stadium to help Clevedon move forward.
With an eye to youth, Clevedon have also signed exciting 16-year-old defender Liam Lester.
Lester, who is the son of Clevedon favourite Steve Lester, made his debut in a pre-season friendly and is described by Bell as “a name to watch out for”.
