Musgrove Reunites With Rayment
Pat Rayment

....& Trophies United Counties League Premier Division club Spalding United.

The Tulips boss had the midfielder in his ranks when he was in charge of Deeping Rangers – and once he became available, he didn’t hesitate to make a move.

Expected to deliver goals and creativity from central midfield, Rayment rates Musgrove – who was linked with a return to UCL Premier Division rivals Peterborough Northern Star before inking terms at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field – as a massive signing.

He said: “Scott is very energetic and gets himself around the pitch very well. He played for me at Deeping and showed flashes of what he’s all about.

“He’s been away working in London but is back in the area now. I think he’s matured a lot and once I knew he was available I didn’t hesitate to make a move for him.

“Lots of other teams were keen. He’s a very, very good player and is just what we’ve been missing. I think Scott will be a massive signing for us.

“It’s important to have competition for places and we certainly have that in midfield now.”
