Myers Returns To Bishops Helm

Ebac Northern League First Division club Bishop Auckland have appointed Colin Myers as their manager for the second time.

Myers had one spell in charge of Bishops in which he helped them win the Durham Challenge Cup and finish in good league positions, before he moved on to Blyth Spartans as assistant-manager.

He returned to the club as assistant during to the summer to Steve Riley, and following Riley’s departure, was caretaker manager.

He takes over with Bishops having lost their first four league games, and he said: “I am delighted to be back at Bishop and can’t wait to get started with what will be a big job. I know from my interview with the Board that everyone is ready to move forward and I am excited at being part of this process”.
