....Sunday's 2-0 home win over Bangor City.
Beaten twice at The Gnoll by City last season, the Eagles made no mistake this time around, although it took until the 71st minute for the deadlock to be broken. After a scrappy first half of few chances for either side, Neath started to pass the ball around after the break and ran out well-deserved winners. Lee Trundle had a hand in both the goals, seeing his shot parried by Citizens' keeper Lee Idzi only for Kerry Morgan to seize on the rebound and net from the left hand side of the box. And the former Swansea marksman provided the pass for Craig Hughes to add the second with a superb left-footed finish 7 minutes later to seal the victory.
