New Attacker and Defender for Town
Danny Earl

.....very experienced defender to underline their determination to bring in quality players to boost performances on the field next season.

The new front-man is Danny Earl, who has played for Billingham Synthonia and scored fifty-five goals in the 110 games he played for them.

That’s an excellent average of a goal every other game so he is clearly a proven First Division goalscorer.

Town have also signed former Norton & Stockton Ancients, Whitby Town and Spennymoor Town defender Craig Bishop to bolster the defence.

Guisborough manager Chris Hardy said: “Danny is exactly the kind of player we have been looking for to improve the squad and propel us up amongst the top teams in the league. We are absolutely delighted to have signed him.

“Craig is a vastly experienced defender who is still only 27, so we hope his best years are still ahead of him. He is another player who will improve the team and support the development of the younger players in the squad.”
