.....been busy ensuring the nucleus of last season`s squad remains intact.

Curtis told Pitchero: “I wanted to make sure I kept as much as the team together from last season as I could. We had a great team spirit and I wanted to keep the core players.”

The players that Curtis has already re-signed for 2012/13 are Tommy Donaldson, Ian Proctor, Tom Barge, Dave Rowe, Mark Holland, Callum Davies, Brad Morris and Alex Norian.

Curtis added: “I am very keen to get a good mix of youth and experience and blend the two together to create a committed, strong unit who want to play for each other!

“I am very excited and appreciate the opportunity given to me and I intend to make the most of this managerial experience and look upon it as a fresh challenge.

“I am sure I will make mistakes along the way but it`s important to learn from them and move forward.

“We have set up friendlies with AFC Bournemouth, Wimborne Town and Whitchurch United and a few others to be confirmed. I am also excited to announce my sports coaching business `Team Spirit` will be running a football coaching course every Saturday morning at the ground for 5-12 years where the children will train on the pitch before the game by an FA qualified `Team Spirit` coach and New Milton Town player. They will also be given free entry to watch the match and parents will get half price entry.

“We are trying to build a family-orientated community football club. The future looks bright as we look forward to a new season pushing in a new direction.”
