New Boy Cole Fired Up
Sam Cole

The 19-year-old, who can play at left-wing and left-back, has joined in time for pre-season training from Sussex County League Division One side Rye United, where he was named last season's players' player and young player of the year.

He was a key member of the Rye side which finished runners-up in the league and reached the last eight in both the FA Vase and Sussex Senior Cup. Cole joined Rye two years ago from Boro's near-neighbours Hailsham Town and will now attempt to make the three-division jump to the Conference South.
