.....newcomers` manager Kevin Wilson has confirmed.
The defender, who turns 21 this week, was a regular in the Robins line-up in the first part of last season’s promotion-winning campaign. But he fell out of favour towards the end of a campaign as Dan Partridge and captain Russell Cooke became the preferred pairing.
At one point it seemed the former Loughborough University player would be moving abroad and not available for the Robins this season.
However, Hill did return in pre-season but has not impressed sufficiently to win fresh terms at the New Manor Ground.
“Players that played a lot of games towards the end of last season have come back this summer and taken it on once again,” said Wilson.
“But some of the players who are on the fringes have come back and not taken it on – and I would put Josh in that category.
“We can’t wait around while players buck their ideas up. We need them hungry and raring to go.”
