....to climb the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League Premier Division table.
The Speeds Meadow side recorded their third win on the trot last Saturday, beating relegation-threatened St Blazey 1-0, thanks to Phil Everett’s late header.
And Buckingham believes new faces such as Tony Radford, Alex Sanderson and Roger Ingham have been key to their up-turn in form.
The boss said: “I just think we are a happier bunch. We have got some fresh faces in the dressing room and we have also got some confidence and some luck – things we have not had until recently.”
The win lifted Cully up to fourteenth in the table, eighteen points clear of the bottom two.
Buckingham said: “I wasn’t worried about relegation, not really, and thankfully now the players are proving I was right not to be. We just about shaded it on Saturday, we created the better chances.”
