Hednesford Town have announced that manager Rob Smith has bolstered his squad following the return of defender Darren Campion to the Evo-Stik League Premier club.

The popular left-back joins the Pitmen for his third spell with the club and was registered in time to feature on the bench in last night’s defeat at Halesowen Town.

Campion first joined Hednesford in October 2010, making his debut for the Pitmen in a 2-1 FA Trophy defeat and since then has featured not only for the Pitmen but also for AFC Telford United and Worcester City on either permanent or loan conditions.

He returns to Keys Park just seven days before his 30th birthday!
