Rushall Olympic boss Wayne Thomas says the performances his side have put in means the results will come writes Tom Feaheny.

The Pics were defeated 2-0 away from home on Monday evening to Shaw Lane AFC.

Speaking to the club’s website Thomas said.

“We dominated a massive part of the game. They were on the ropes at times but we were unable to find the final touch to take advantage.

“It’s been the story of our season so far; it’s always going to be an uphill battle if we give teams a goal start, but our confidence is growing and we’re getting there.”

Rushall Olympic find themselves at the wrong end of the table so far, but Thomas says there is a lot they can take from their efforts so far.

“I can’t fault the lads’ determination and effort against a good side who I expect to be right up there this season. We’re a young group and we’re having to learn quickly but I have every faith in them to get things right. There were a lot of positives to come out of the game and we will build on these.”

They next face Nantwich Town on Saturday.
