....at Baris Northern Counties East League First Division club Yorkshire Amateur.
Noteman`s background is steeped in football and he started out in one of the club`s junior sides.
Graduating from the juniors to the seniors, he then went on to play for Harrogate Railway before turning professional and joining Doncaster Rovers.
He has played for some of Yorkshire`s most successful clubs and has played in the FA Cup Third Round, semi-final of the FA Trophy and the FA Vase Final at Wembley.
After Doncaster he played for the likes of Frickley Athletic, Farsley Celtic, Guiseley, Harrogate Town, Bishop Auckland and Goole AFC. But he has remained an Ammas` man.
Having been a coach for fifteen years and having coached one of the junior sections most successful teams from under-10s upwards, with Kingsley Needham they have successfully now bedded them into the senior section Academy and Noteman is up for the next big challenge.
Noteman will be assisted by Peter Brennan, who has a great knowledge of the Leeds non-League circuit and Dennis Metcalfe Jnr, who has coached at Bradford City and Leeds United for many years before having a short spell in management with Harrogate Railway.
Noteman said: “The club is going through a period of transition and changes have already been made. Every team starts off the beginning of their season in an optimistic fashion, but this season is probably one of the most crucial in the clubs history.
“With limited resources it will be important that we continue to develop our young players and integrate them with existing and experienced new players to the club. So we need to get together, get our preparation right and start well. I’ve already had lots of calls from interested players wanting to get involved so I’m sure we’ll be able to build a side that will be competitive.”
